I specialise in Bathing, Grooming, and clipping Cats, but also trained and available for dog grooming, small dogs only.

At Fur Seasons Grooming, we understand that every pet is unique. Our grooming sessions are designed to build confidence, transforming grooming from a chore into a comfortable, enjoyable experience, where possible!
We always ensure your pet feels secure and cared for throughout the process and work with the owners on a grooming routine at home and in the salon.
Why grooming matters for Cats
Regular grooming is vital for your cat's health and happiness. It helps prevent common issues like hairballs, skin infections, and painful matted coats. The saying "Cats groom themselves" is true, but they also need help with grooming, especially the older cats due to arthritis, they cannot reach like they used to be able to and other health problems. Kittens, especially the long haired breeds should be groomed from a young age to familiarise them to the grooming equipment and routine from an early age, preventing future problems with the coat and skin.
Our dry bath method, using speciality dry shampoo, not only cleans but also conditions, followed by a de-shed to support your cat’s natural grooming process. This is an excellent way to start your cat with the grooming process too as no water is involved.
The wet baths can be available for very dirty, greasy coats, the coat is shampooed twice and conditioned. The coat is then dried and a 'groom out' is a great way to clean an oily dirty coat. Options for the drying methods are available. Wet baths increase the time in the salon.

Qualified in dog grooming, unfortunately I can only fit small dogs in! I can demonstrate a broad understanding of animal care and use of equipment.
Cat Assistant Days
My Assistant ( My Son!!) has Animal Management Level 3 and also a Degree: BSc Animal Collections and Conservation.
He is happy in his role as a Zookeeper, clicker-training, feeding, cleaning out, making enrichment, administering necessary medications and doing 'Talks' about the animals in his care for the general public.
On his days off from his role he will assist me on the 'Assistant Days' with the cats that may need extra support during their grooms due to being frightened. We can do our best to keep your cat as comfortable as possible, but more important, safe!
