All groom  prices are individual to cat size, coat, temperament and time.

We work in a pair due to safety of the cat and groomer. With this in mind there are not many cats we cannot groom. We have a 99% pass rate! This all reflects the prices.

** INTERESTING INFO!!!** If the groomers get bitten by a cat they have to put their hand into ' epsom salts' and see a doctor as soon as possible for an anti-biotic injection. We hope it never comes to this (NHS Wait Times and lack of doctors appointments )

We have adequate PPE, but we do have to have our fingers out for dexterity and can't really wear 'body armour'!!!

No 'Nail Clips only' appointments due to time to disinfect areas and equipment between clients and this can be the cat's most uncomfortable part of a groom.

We never carry out or continue the groom if the cat is severely distressed for the safety of the cat and groomer. We give advice on the next steps

No Charge if the cat has to be collected and no groom within 30/40 minutes. They may be able to return another day on sedation (Gabapentin/Trazadone)

The methods of removal will depend on coat type and the tolerance of your cat and the time it takes to safely remove the matts. This may mean you have to book in another day for the wet bath if that was requested, or if the coat is dandruff and greasy underneath as it will be too long in the salon for the cat. The cat's skin under the matts may be too sensitive or have delicate patches  to wet bath that day. Advice will be given.

Wet baths can take time due to the drying process.

Some cats may need veterinary support as the may need sedation, I will talk you through this if you wish and what to expect from your vet visit.

 9/10 cats that visit me are not sedated, but if you think your cat will find the groom distressing or too to stay still  (i.e. matted coat) I would suggest you having a talk with your vet.

We are here to help, so please do not hesitate to ask advice and notify us of any matting to ensure a positive experience for your cat.

I suggest all owners of cats ( especially long haired cats, be grooming at least every 2 days. Not just on their backs, but under belly, under chin and chest, around back legs, legs and tail ( hold the tail, do not pull, go gently as it an extension of the spine)

Matts pull on cat's delicate skin and can be uncomfortable and the longer they are in the more they cause pain, they can end up tearing the skin, then it's a vet's bill and causing harm to your cat.

Please do not try to comb or brush a matted cat, it will cause the cat discomfort and pain. 

Please try to keep up a grooming schedule for the welfare of your cat. 

I can give free consultation and advice on the best methods but we reserve the right to use the most humane and careful method needed for your cat as this can often change throughout the groom.

If you know your cat is not tolerant of handling, or you know will be distressed, please speak to your vet about a mild relaxant or sedative for the grooming, which you can administer at home but you must inform us, this helps the clipping process as it decreases anxiety, especially if the cat has matts.

Groom Prices start at £70 for a basic dry groom with nails, eyes and ears cleaned.

Maximum fee we charge is £160 which is for matted cats, difficult behaviour, wet baths AFTER  time consuming matt removal and lengthy appointments.

Please feel free to enquire about the pricing structure- you do not pay for a hygiene area trim if you pay for a panel clip etc 

An estimate can be given if needed when the cat comes in and I can assess the coat.
This is an estimate, this could increase with be behaviour/ coat condition.

I can then give you an approximate time to leave your cat with me, then I message you when finished to collect your cat.
Time in the salon is from 1 hour to 3.5 hours depending on the groom/coat. 

I can provide transport for your furry friend too if really needed. I can give you a quote for the transport separately. 

The registration form needs to have as much detail of your cat as possible :  name, colour, size, breed, age, coat condition (please be honest, I'm here to help make the appointment run smoothly)

 The 'registration form' I will send you by email, covers all this information needed with questions for you to complete, add as much information as possible. 
You are signing the registration form to agree with all Terms and Conditions.

Please note that cats shed their coat all year, especially indoor cats but Spring and Autumn are the times you will notice more shedding.
We can use de-shedding tools and complete a full groom out, taking  dead hairs and undercoat out, we sometimes keep it to show you!.... but your cat will never stop losing their hairs! This is why it is beneficial for you do home groom if possible too.

If you wish to cancel the appointment please give us 48 hours notice.
Once an appointment is cancelled within the 48 hours, a deposit of £20 will have to be paid to book the next groom, this will then be deducted off the groom on the day...

**note this deposit is only for people who cancel last minute, it's not fair on the other customers who would have liked that appointment**

Please do not send your cat with fleas.

Please treat at home with a veterinary recommended course.

If your cat is booked in for a groom, I can apply a preventable  'spot on' treatment for you, if you supply it.

I have flea treatment shampoo for cats, so if your cat has recently been fleas, notify me and I can wash in this to remove all debris caused by fleas. 

**Unfortunately if your cat has 'obvious'  fleas, I will have to contact you to collect your cat asap and half the groom fee will be charged.**
